Metrolink works tracks in town

Metrolink crews will be surfacing and welding the rails between Moorpark Ave. and Spring Road in the city of Moorpark from 9 p.m.-7 a.m. Fri.-Sat., Nov. 14-15, 21-22. The work is part of Metrolink’s ongoing maintenance and must be done during evening and early morning hours to avoid interference with freight and passenger service.

Crews will be working on the following schedule:

Nov. 14 from 9 p.m.-7 a.m. Nov. 15

Nov. 15 from 9 p.m.-7 a.m. Nov. 16

Nov. 21 from 9 p.m.-7 a.m. Nov. 22

Nov. 22 from 9 p.m.-7 a.m. Nov. 23

Businesses and residents in the area will be notified about the closure through Metrolink’s Community Relations Office. Questions about the project may be directed to the Metrolink Community Relations Office at (213) 452-0288.
