Conejo Valley Jaycees to help at Foodshare

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, the Conejo Valley Jaycees will volunteer from noon-3 p.m. Sat., Nov. 22 at the Oxnard FoodShare. They will be sorting, collating, bundling, labeling and packaging food that will later be delivered to homeless shelters throughout the area.

Anyone interested in attending should contact Denise McGuffey at: denise_ddm@msn.com for more information. Nonmembers are welcome to attend the event to learn more about the Jaycees.

The Jaycees are a nonprofit organization for individuals ages 21-40 who are interested in meeting new people, professional development and serving their community. The Conejo Valley Jaycees include members from Agoura Hills, Calabasas, Camarillo, Moorpark, Newbury Park, Ojai, Oxnard, Port Hueneme, Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks, Ventura and Westlake Village.
