Chamber brings Biz Expo and Family Festival to Country Club

The recently opened Moorpark Country Club is hosting this year’s Moorpark Business Expo and Family Festival from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. tomorrow, Sat., Nov. 15.

"Something a lot of people in Moorpark don’t realize is that the Moorpark Country Club and Golf Course is all open to the public," said Country Club catering director Jodi Boscarino. "We are not a private club. The restaurant and golf course is always open to everybody." The same is true for the Moorpark Chamber Business Expo. Between the efforts of the Moorpark Chamber and Country Club, a wide assortment of attractions will be present at the event.

More than 50 vendors and service organizations will be present inside the main building, "eager to show off their wares and areas of expertise," according to event organizers. A mariachi band will provide music. Food will be available from the newly opened Champions Grille and Bar, "orchestrated" by Chef Kevin Schott.

Outside, free carriage rides will be offered by Victoria’s Carriages. Balloons and a moon-bounce will available to entertain the kids.

"How exciting that we have evolved into such a broad event in our second year," Chamber CEO Virginia Hayward said. "The opportunity to join this Expo with the grand opening of the County Club’s new restaurant is a real treat."

The Moorpark Country Club is located at 11800 Championship Drive, off Walnut just north of Moorpark.
