Students invited to join the European Masterpieces Guided Tour

My name is Robbi La Londe and I teach English and French at Moorpark High. I am very pleased to announce the European guided tour that I am planning through the National Educational Council for this coming summer.

The tour will begin during the week of July 12th, 2004, and the 14-day itinerary includes visits to London, England; Paris and the Loire Valley in France; Basil and Lucerne in Switzerland; Florence, Tuscany, Assisi and Rome in Italy.

NETC’s innovative programs immerse students in activities that transform their educational tour into a journey of personal discovery. On-site activities engage students in experiential learning— they will delve into the history, culture, foods, and day-to-day customs of four foreign countries. When your child returns home, he or she won’t have just visited new countries, he or she will have lived them.

A 24-hour tour director will accompany us to ensure that all goes smoothly and to make sure that each participant gets the most out of his or her journey.  All transportation, accommodations, museum and chateaux entrance fees, along with breakfasts and dinners are included in the student price of $3126.

Parents are also welcome to travel with the group for a slightly higher fee.  Registration has already begun and there are just 12 places remaining for the tour.  An initial deposit of $495 is due upon registration and flexible payments plans are available through NETC. All fees must be paid by March 15, 2004.

I hope that this holiday season you will consider giving your son or daughter the gift that truly lasts a lifetime - the gift of educational travel.

Please contact me at R_La_Londe@msn.com  or rlalonde@mrpk.k12.ca.us or 805-553-0681 for registrations forms and additional information. I would also be happy to arrange a meeting with you in order to tell you more about the trip, my personal travel background, and myself.
