Gold's Gym opens in Simi Valley

The Gold's Gym of Los Angeles franchise has opened a 50,000-square-foot facility at 1357 E. Los Angeles Ave. in Simi Valley.

The gym offers more than 100 weekly group exercise classes, nutrition programs, personal training, men's and women's private steam and sauna rooms, an indoor and outdoor Kids Club and child care facility, more than 125 pieces of the latest cardio equipment with individual television screens, a tanning center, a Gold's Gym Pro Shop, a fullsize nonchlorine pool and Jacuzzi, full-court basketball, a regulation boxing ring, three group exercise rooms, large locker rooms and unlimited free parking.
