Scholars, survivors participate in Holocaust education event
      The 24th annual teacher training workshop "The Relevance of Teaching the Holocaust in the 21st Century" will be offered for educators and residents on four consecutive Thursdays from 4:15 to 8:30 p.m. on Feb. 1, 8, 15 and 22 with an optional fifth session on March 1.

Walnut Canyon School to host Family Art Night benefit
      Walnut Canyon Elementary School, a local arts and technology school of choice in Moorpark, will host the annual Family Art Night on Mon., Jan. 22 from 6 to 8 p.m. The event is a fundraiser for the school, with the proceeds going to art supplies, music, costumes and performances for the students.
