Simi Chamber names Ambassador of Year

Ben Gilbert, owner and publisher of Welcome to the Neighborhood magazine, was named Ambassador of the Year by the Simi Valley Chamber of Commerce. This award is presented to Chamber members for outstanding leadership and contributions to the Simi Valley business community.

Gilbert is involved in numerous Chamber activities, such as assisting with monthly Chamber breakfasts, monthly mixers and Member Appreciation Day. He serves on the Ambassador Committee, as a mentor to new Chamber members and is the Ribbon Cutting chair. Gilbert recruited the most new members last year.

Gilbert has been a member of the Simi Valley Chamber of Commerce for nearly four years. Last year, Gilbert was named Chamber Member of the Year by the Moorpark Chamber of Commerce. He has memberships in the Simi Valley Chapter of BNI and the Rotary Club of Moorpark.
