Bagwell Construction promotes employee

Bagwell Construction Services Inc. has announced the promotion of Paula Collins to office manager.

Collins joined Bagwell Construction in summer 2005 and has worked in sales and design and has also provided a major support role for the production department.

She resides in Fillmore with her husband, Jeff. porting those working in the fields of marketing, public relations, and graphic design.

The group was launched earlier this month by Tea Silvestre of Social Good Marketing & Design Inc. Silvestre said she formed the group out of frustration that Ventura County lacks a local chapter of the two main national associations in her profession. The American Marketing Association and Public Relations Society of America both have chapters in Los Angeles.

"Launching this group is a way for us to gather as peers for the purpose of advancing the standards of our profession, providing each other with professional development opportunities and assisting with information exchange forums and research projects conducted at the local level," said Silvestre.

The group meets online via a listserv hosted through Yahoo Groups. There is no cost to join.
