Free landfill day for Moorpark residents

Free landfill day for Moorpark residents will be Sun., April 15 at the Simi Valley Landfill and Recycling Center, 2801 Madera Road in Simi Valley. Household waste can be dumped or recycled without charge from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The first of two free landfill days for the year, this is an opportunity for Moorpark residents to safely and properly dispose of accumulated refuse and to recycle yard trimmings from spring cleaning projects.

Hazardous material, construction debris and business waste will not be accepted. No appointments are necessary.
