Cyclist dies in crash

A fatal motorcycle collision took place at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday near the intersection of Arborhill Street and Walnut Creek Road.

Eduardo Altobelli was riding his 2006 Kawasaki motorcycle eastbound on Walnut Creek Road when he apparently lost control of his vehicle, left the roadway and was thrown to the ground.

Altobelli was transported by ambulance to Los Robles Regional Medical Center for treatment.

He succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead later that day.
