Moorpark Packer cheerleaders win in Vegas

The Moorpark Packer cheerleaders recently won the Jamz National Championship title for their routine in the Youth III Level II Performance Cheer division in Las Vegas. The team also earned second place in the Youth III Level II Show Cheer division.

The Moorpark Packer Cheerleaders, which cheer for the Moorpark Packer football teams and are part of the Gold Coast Youth Football League, will have sign-ups this weekend for the 2007 season at the Vons market, 42414 Tierra Rejada Road, Moorpark.

Registration will be from 10 a.m. to noon tomorrow, Sat., May 19 and from noon to 2 p.m. Sun., May 20. Practice begins Aug. 7. For more information, call (805) 529-7363.
