Time to pull the plug on the war

It is time to end the occupation.

It is time to have the troops get in their vehicles, drive through Kuwait to the ocean, get on our carrier groups and come home.

It is time to nationalize the energy companies that provoked this war with dreams of windfall profits and lust for another nation's resources. Remember, either as a boast, Freudian slip, or a cry for help, this war was first called O.I.L.- "Operation Iraqi Liberation."

It is time to nationalize our defense/security industries. Where war is good business, it is time to remove the profit motivation. It is time to stop exporting weapons world wide to friends and foe alike. It is time to stop fighting our selves in conflicts around the globe.

It is time to render those responsible for this unprovoked, criminal war of aggression to the International Criminal Court, because here in America it is impossible to officially raise the debate above "mistakes were made" to "crimes were committed."

If our representatives can't do any of the foregoing, perhaps they could filibuster the Iraq Supplemental. Not another dime for this occupation. Consider it a national teachin until a consensus is reached to investigate, indict, impeach and imprison them all for high crimes against America.

The hour is late. It is time to shut down this cancer in our body politic.
