Local lineman to play for Marist College

Dayne LoCollo, an offensive lineman from Crespi Carmelite High School in Encino and a resident of Moorpark, has accepted an offer to play football for Marist College, a private liberal arts school in Poughkeepsie, N.Y.

He plans to study finance and accounting in college.

LoCollo signed his Letter of Intent to play for the Red Foxes in February. Marist is a member of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. The team won the MAAC football championship last season.
