AAUW scholarship winners announced

The Simi Valley Branch of American Association of University Women announces the 2007 scholarship winners.

Samantha Corralejo received the $1,000 Kay Barker Scholarship. She is graduating from Royal High School and will attend Westmont College in Santa Barbara. She plans a career in special education.

Carolyn Chou was presented a $1,000 scholarship. She is a Moorpark High School senior and will attend UCLA. She plans to be a business leader, focusing on economics.

Emily Tung earned a $1,000 scholarship. She is a senior at Moorpark High School and will attend UC Berkeley. She is fluent in four languages, which will enhance her career plans as an international business leader.

Bridget Engle received a $1,000 scholarship. She will attend UC Santa Barbara to study government/political science.

Seema Ullal was awarded a $1,000 scholarship. She is a senior at Santa Susana High School and will attend UCLA.
