Democrats to meet

The Democratic Club of Conejo Valley will meet at 6:30 p.m. Wed., June 13 at the Newbury Park Library, 2331 Borchard Road, Newbury Park.

At 7 p.m. Emily Gold, field director for state Sen. Sheila Kuehl (DSanta Monica), will give details on the single payer health initiative.

The Democratic Women's Council of Conejo Valley will hold a brunch from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Sat., June 16 at Boccaccio's Ristorante, 32123 Lindero Canyon Road, on the lake in Westlake Village. Cost is $25.
