Homeownership class open

The Area Housing Authority of the county of Ventura will offer free educational classes on homeownership.

The next seminar is scheduled for 6 to 7 p.m. Tues., June 19 at the Camarillo Chamber of Commerce, 2400 Ventura Blvd., Camarillo.

The free class will address the following topics: tax advantages of home ownership, programs available for financing for a first-time buyer, raising and maintaining a high FICO score.

The seminars are educational only. There are no sales involved.
