Singers, dancers to shine in musical review

The Summer Arts Festival at Moorpark College will present "Moon Over Broadway" at 8 p.m. Fri. and Sat., June 15 and 16, and 2 p.m. Sat. and Sun., June 16 and 17 in the Performing Arts Center at Moorpark College, 7075 Campus Road.

The revue is directed by Dennon and Sayhber Rawles, with musical direction by Dave Watkins and vocal direction by Marilyn Anderson.

The performance showcases the talents of Moorpark College's musical theater and dance students and features songs from some of Broadway's best-known composers and musicals, including works by Gershwin, Porter and Berlin.

Tickets are $16 for adults, $9 for seniors, students and staff, and $8 for children.

The Moorpark College Summer Arts Festival provides an opportunity for students to explore the arts through classroom rehearsals and staged performances.
