Enjoy tribute bands in outdoor concert series

The Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District will sponsor the second season of family friendly Music in the Park concerts from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturdays in the outdoor grassy area next to the lagoon at Rancho Simi Community Park, 1765 Royal Ave., Simi Valley.

The scheduled groups are:

+Ticket to Ride, a Beatles tribute band, June 16.

+Raymond Michael, an Elvis tribute artist, July 21.

+The Surf City All Stars, Beach Boys tribute, Aug. 11. This show only will be at Oak Canyon Community Park, 1000 Kanan Road, Oak Park.

+Dean Simmons, Garth Brooks tribute, Aug. 18.

Attendees may bring lawn seating and a picnic dinner. Room for dancing will be provided. All shows are free.

Local Rotary Clubs are cosponsoring the shows.
