Romantic comedy 'Enchanted April' opens in Santa Paula
Local theater manager to perform

The Santa Paula Theater Center will open the romantics ummercomedy"Enchanted April" by Matthew Barber on June 29 for a sixweek run through Aug. 5 at the Santa Paula Theater Center, 125 S. 7th St. in Santa Paula.

Performances are at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday evenings and 4 p.m. Sundays.

L.J. Stevens, manager of the High Street Arts Center in Moorpark, is cast as one of the actors in the show.

"Enchanted April" follows four English women spending a month sharing a villa in Italy. Everyone blossoms, including visiting husbands, in unexpected ways.

Andrea Tate directs "Enchanted April," based on the novel by Elizabeth Von Arnim, with Leslie Nichols producing.

Scenic and lighting design is by Gary Richardson, with costume design by Sara Magwane.

The cast includes L J Stevens, John McKinley, NancyF inn,Ja yWisell, Cherry Schultz, Jereme Leslie, Peggy Steketee and Helene Benjamin.
