Reagan library presents free summer lectures

The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library will host the following free lectures this summer. The library is at 40 Presidential Drive, Simi Valley.

+Lech Kaczynski, president of Poland, will deliver a lecture at 1 p.m. Tues., July 17. He will also present the Order of the White Eagle, Poland's highest award, posthumously to Reagan for his efforts to bring democracy to the Polish people. Nancy Reagan will accept the award.

+Karyn Frist will sign copies of her new book, "Love You, Daddy Boy," at 2 p.m. Wed., July 18. Frist will be joined by her husband, Bill Frist, former Senate majority leader, for a lecture at 1 p.m. in the library's Presidential Learning Center.

+Sen. Mitch McConnell (RKentucky) will speak at 1 p.m. Wed., Aug. 15. He was elected the Republican leader for the 110th Congress and serves on the Senate Appropriations, Rules and Agriculture committees.
