Up in the air on July 3

One of the airplanes from Moorpark's Third of July flyover

I was in the back seat of the lead airplane for the flyover on July 3. This is a picture from the air of the formation from the lead ship.

The four pilots that flew the formations were Jason Somes (lead), Chris Rushing (No. 2), Ken Gotchall (No. 3) and Will Kalbermatter (No. 4).

Somes' airplane is based in Camarillo. Rushing's airplane is based at Van Nuys. Gotchall and Kalbermatter have their planes based at Santa Paula. They are active members in the Commemorative Air Force, Southern California Wing at the Camarillo Airport.
