Local musicians play out-of-town

Moorpark musicians will be presenting concerts in Camarillo this summer. All shows are free and will be in Constitution Park, 1287 Paseo Camarillo, next to City Hall.

•Julie Judd, director of bands at Chaparral Middle School in Moorpark, will conduct the Camarillo Community Band at 7 p.m. Thurs., July 19.

Samantha Blake, music teacher and director of bands and chorus at Mesa Verde Middle School in Moorpark, will be the guest conductor for the Camarillo Community Band at 7 p.m. Thurs., July 26.

•The Moorpark Symphony Orchestra will perform at 7:30 p.m. Sat., July 21. A youth preshow will start at 6:45 p.m.
