Youth strings group plays

Just Friends Strings Ensemble will play from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Sat., Aug 11 at the Simi Valley Borders bookstore, 2910 Tapo Canyon Road.

The group is composed of orchestra students from Chaparral Middle School in Moorpark but is not a school organization. The musicians will perform classics and favorites like "Stairway to Heaven" and "In the Mood."
