Sometime between Aug. 31 and Sept. 1 vandals spraypainted graffiti on a car parked in the 4300 block of Laurelhurst Drive. At the same time, graffiti was also sprayed on facilities at the park across the street.

Thieves took items sometime between July 20 and Aug. 31 from a home in the 4300 block of Hitch Road.

Moorpark Unified School District property was vandalized with graffiti sometime between Aug. 30 and 31 in the 5700 block of Condor Drive.

Between Aug. 28 and 29, vandals spray-painted the Warehouse Discount Center walls with gang-related graffiti.

A car parked in an unspecified part of Moorpark was burglarized sometime between Aug. 28 and 29.

Sometime between Aug. 25 and 27, thieves cut through a roll-up door of a business in the 5000 block of Maureen Lane and stole property.

A car parked in the 12900 block of Silver Creek Street was burglarized on Aug. 25.

On Aug. 24 both Villa Campesina Park and Performance Nursery in the 12700 block of Tierra Rejada Road were vandalized with graffiti by trespassers.

Sometime between Aug. 22 and 23 in the 14800 block of Reedley Street, someone burglarized a parked car.

Vandals punctured a tire of a car parked in the 14300 block of Clemson Street on Aug. 22.

On Aug. 31 in an alley to the rear of the 100 block of First Street, an underage drinker was arrested for possession of alcohol.

In the process of serving an arrest warrant on Aug. 31 in a home in the 10700 block of Ternez Drive, authorities found another resident under the influence of illegal drugs and in possession of needles and stolen checks.

On Aug. 29 in the 100 block of Everett Street, a man was taken into custody for parole violations.

During a routine traffic stop on Aug. 28 in an unspecified area of Moorpark, a driver and a passenger both displayed symptoms of being under the influence of illegal drugs and they were arrested.

A passenger in a car stopped on Aug. 27 for suspicion of being involved in narcotics activities in the 4200 block of Tierra Rejada Road was found in possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia. The man, under the influence at the time of the encounter with deputies, was taken into custody.

At an undisclosed location on Aug. 26, a deputy noticed a man displaying symptoms of being under the influence of an illegal drug. Upon a search of the man's car, the deputy found Seroquel pills and a glass methamphetamine pipe and arrested the man.

On Aug. 25 a woman selling shaved ice at the corner of Third Street at Flory Avenue was cited for street vending without a permit.

A man found with a large black marker on Aug. 24 in the 4700 block of Leta Yancy Road was cited for putting graffiti on park property.
