Between July 14 and Sept. 16, an employee of Target, in the 800 block of Los Angeles Avenue, was discovered activating gift cards without paying for them. The employee was taken into custody.

On Sept. 15 a known suspect under 18 entered the Ralphs supermarket in the 100 block of West Los Angeles Avenue and stole alcohol.

A car parked in the 400 block of Esther Avenue between Sept. 14 and 15 was burglarized. Suspects stole a stereo face plate, 50 DVDs, eight CDs, and the car's tail light and front turn signal assemblies. The car was then vandalized, leaving the windshield broken and paint scratched on all sides of the car.

An unlocked car parked in the 11000 block of Mann Court on Sept. 15 was burglarized.

On Sept. 13 the retaining wall for an apartment complex in the 4700 block of S. Moorpark Avenue was vandalized with spray-painted gang graffiti.

A home in the 14600 block of Marymount Street was burglarized on Sept. 12.

On Sept. 12 a burglar removed the back door from a sandwich shop in the 4200 block of Tierra Rejada Road and stole $17.50 in coins from a locked cash register.

On Sept. 11 vandals spraypainted graffiti on the walls of a shopping center in the 14700 block of Princeton Avenue. Nicknames were interspersed with profanity.

A known shoplifter stole items from Chick's Sporting Goods Store in the 700 block of Los Angeles Avenue on Sept. 11. The man was arrested.

A store in the 500 block of Spring Road was victim to a forced entry sometime between Sept. 10 and 11. Items were stolen.

On Sept. 10 in the 4200 block of Granadilla Drive, someone removed a cinderblock from a nearby wall and pounded it through the windshield of a parked car.

A brick was thrown through a window of a home in the 14700 block of E. Hartford Street Sept. 9.

On Sept. 16, an officer was called to check on the well-being of an individual inside a car parked in the 6500 block of Collins Drive. Upon arrival, the officer discovered the driver to be under the influence of illegal drugs and placed him under arrest.

A man was arrested on Sept. 16 for urinating in public in the 100 block of High Street.

During a consensual contact made on Sept. 16 in an undisclosed part of Moorpark, an officer noted a suspect showing signs of being under the influence of illegal drugs and took the man into custody.

During a routine traffic stop made on Sept. 15 at Moorpark Avenue just south of Los Angeles Avenue, a driver was found to be under the influence of alcohol and he was taken into custody.

On Sept. 12, a suspected driver in a hit-and-run investigation was found to have an outstanding warrant. Officers noticed the man was under the influence of illegal drugs. He was arrested and transported to jail.

During a consensual contact made on two minors on Sept. 12 in the 6900 block of Queens Court, officers discovered both youngsters to be in possession of alcohol.

On Sept. 8, officers made contact with a known gang member who was congregating with other gang members in the 500 block of Los Angeles Avenue. The suspect had a gravity knife, and he was taken into custody.
