The Sept. 7 story about blighted downtown areas may have incorrectly implied that the Moorpark Redevelopment Agency disbanded in 2001.

The sentence in question on page 5 should have read "The agency, formed in 1987, had the legal power to use eminent domain to acquire properties from unwilling sellers until 2001, when its authority expired."
