Fortnightlys study Lewis & Clark

The Moorpark Women's Fortnightly Club event will meet for luncheon at 10 a.m. Fri., Oct. 12 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 13955 Peach Hill Road, Moorpark.

The program will explore the cross-country trek of Lewis and Clark. A collection for UNICEF will be taken.

Women wanting to make a difference in the community or looking for friendship are welcome to attend. The club offers monthly day and evening get-togethers, community service opportunities and small groups for crafts, bunco and books.

Women who can't attend a daytime meeting are invited to Gals' Night Out at 7 p.m. Mon., Oct. 22.
