Public may participate in memorial design

Cityofficialsinvite residents to participate in the design process for the Moorpark Veterans Memorial.

The public is invited to the future site of the VeteransM emorial, southeastc ornerof Spring Road and Flinn Avenue across from the Police Services facility, at 5:30 p.m. Tues., Oct. 16 to view the site and look at the draft design.

The public is then invited to share comments with, or ask questions of, theartscommission,city staff or Community Works Design Group a t the Arts Commission meeting immediately following at 6 p.m. at the Moorpark Community Center, 799 Moorpark Ave.

Community Works Design Group is the landscape architect firm attached to the project.
