Garden Day to take place at Walnut Canyon

Walnut Canyon Elementary School, an arts and technology school in Moorpark, will host the school's annual Garden Day and Rummage Sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sat. Oct. 13 at 280 Casey Road in Moorpark.

During Garden Day, families work to maintain the school grounds. The planter boxes outside of the classrooms need of droughtresistant plants. Donations of soil, plants, planters and pots are welcomed.

The rummage sale will be held in the main parking lot of the school. Proceeds from the event will be used to provide PTAsponsored programs, events and services to the students. Donations for the rummage sale will be accepted on Sat. Oct. 13 from 7 to 9 a.m.
