Moorpark dentist will buy back candy

Dr. Yossi Bar-Zion and the staff of Bar-Zion Orthodontics will buy back Halloween candy from 10 a.m. to noon Thurs., Nov. 1 at the office in the Mission Bell Plaza, 553 W. Los Angeles Ave., Moorpark.

The staff will pay $1 per pound and a toothbrush, up to 200 pounds overall and then at 50 cents per pound while money lasts. Each person is limited to five pounds of candy.

Last year the staff collected 850 pounds of candy.

Collected candy will be donated to local charities.
