A home in the 13800 block of Ransom Road was burglarized sometime between Nov. 4 and 5.

An attempt was made to steal merchandise from the Target store in the 800 block of Los Angeles Avenue on Nov. 4.

On Nov. 3 customers of the Denny's restaurant in the 800 block of Los Angeles Avenue left without paying for their meals.

A known suspect allegedly battered a woman on Nov. 2 during an argument over his taking her car without her permission. The incident took place in the 50 block of Majestic Court. The same man made off with an undisclosed amount of money belonging to the victim and another person at the same residence. Someone later called and threatened a witness with bodily harm.

Two surfboards were stolen sometime between Nov. 1 and 2 from the bed of a truck parked in the 13300 block of Wintergreen Lane.

On Oct. 31, an unknown substance was thrown on the left-side window of a car parked in the 14300 block of East Purdue Street. The substance bonded to the window and could not be removed.

A man willfully backed his car into another car parked in the 6500 block of Overly Street, causing the other car damage exceeding $1,500. The incident took place on Nov. 1.

On Oct. 31 someone stole items from a car parked in the 13700 block of Grand Isle Drive.

Vandals sprayed black paint onto the walls of the United Methodist Church in the 200 block of Flory Avenue sometime between Oct. 31 and Nov. 1.

On Nov. 1, someone used multiple items to break the windshield of a car parked in the 4400 block of Appleglen Court.

A car parked in the 12900 block of Williams Ranch Road was burglarized sometime between Oct. 27 and 28.

A man living in his motorhome in a parking lot in the 500 block of Los Angeles Avenue was told to leave the premises on Oct. 30. He chose to remain parked there overnight and was subsequently arrested.

Sometime between Oct. 29 and 30, vandals spray-painted graffiti on items in Performance Nursery in the 12700 block of Tierra Rejada Road.

A wall in the 100 block of West Los Angeles Avenue was vandalized sometime between Oct. 27 and 30. Damages exceeded $400.

A car parked in the 4200 block of Colibri Court was burglarized sometime between Oct. 27 and 28.

Sometime between Oct. 26 and 28, someone attempted to enter a home in the 13700 block of Christian Barrett Drive by prying the window screen off the window.

A vandal defaced property in the 4500 block of Tierra Rejada Road on Oct. 22 with graffiti.

On Nov. 4, a man crashed his car into two parked cars in the 600 block of Spring Road. The man then drove away without contacting the owners of the damaged cars and was arrested for hit and run.

During a standard parole search in the 400 block of Charles Street on Nov. 3, two subjects were found to be in possession of illegal drugs and were placed under arrest.

On Nov. 2 during a traffic stop in the 500 block of Los Angeles Avenue, a driver was found to be in possession of cocaine, methamphetamine and marijuana and was taken into custody.

During a burglary followup investigation on Nov. 1, a woman was found to be in possession of medical marijuana without a prescription. She was cited and released. The incident took place in the 4700 block of Moorpark Avenue.

On Oct. 31 a man struck another car while driving in the 7000 block of Campus Drive. He drove away from the scene without contacting the driver of the other car. The police caught up with him on the site of Moorpark College and wrote the man a citation.

A woman seen walking in a dark alley in an unspecified part of Moorpark on Oct. 31 was found to be under the influence of illegal drugs and was placed under arrest.

A man riding a bicycle in the dark with no lights in the intersection of Millard Street and Roberts Avenue on Oct. 30 was arrested for being under the influence of illegal drugs.
