Open house at girls' school

La Reina High School invites eighth-grade girls to a Step-Up Day from 9 a.m. to noon Fri., Nov. 16 at the school, 106 W. Janss Road, Thousand Oaks.

Guests will meet students and learn about the school's academics and activities. For registration information, call Karen Moore, director of admissions, at (805) 495-6494, ext. 307.

An open house for prospective students and their parents is planned for Sun., Dec 2 from 1 to 4 p.m. Reservations for the open house are not necessary.
