Sheriff's Blotter On Nov. 12 property was stolen from a business in the 800 block of Los Angeles Avenue. Someone broke a window to steal property from a vehicle in the 15000 block of Varsity Street on Nov. 12. Vandals spray-painted graffiti on the Arroyo Vista Park snack bar between Nov. 9 and 10. On Nov. 10 vandals spraypainted exterior walls and the roof of the park bathroom in the 6400 block of Harvard Street. Someone entered a private garage in the 12400 block of Willow Grove Court on Nov. 8 and stole a bicycle. A man's property was stolen from his car in the 12400 block of Willow Grove Court on Oct. 27 and his credit cards were used to buy goods and services. An incident report was not filed until Nov. 8. Two street signs were stolen from Gentlewood Drive on Nov. 9 On Nov. 8 two cars were broken into in the 400 block of Second Street. A house in the 6600 block of Pecan Avenue was broken into by force and burglarized on Nov. 8. A credit card was stolen from a home in the 4200 block of Kingsview Road between Oct. 30 and Nov. 5. Charges were made to the stolen card at several businesses. Sometime between Oct. 30 and Nov. 1, vandals dumped an unknown substance into the gas tank of a resident of the Timberview/ Chestnut Ridge area of Moorpark. Between Nov. 5 and 6, unknown suspects forced their way into a car parked in the 14800 block of Campus Park Drive and stole property. Property was stolen from DI Construction in the 4200 block of Granadilla Drive sometime between Nov. 4 and 5. On Nov. 5 vandals shattered a window of a house near the intersection of Campus Park Drive and Marquette Street. Property was stolen from a residence in the 500 block of Spring Road on Nov. 5. Two cars parked on Scholartree Court were burglarized between Nov. 3 and 5. A credit card stolen from one car was used to buy gas. On Nov. 4, known suspects struck a man with an unknown object, leaving the victim with lacerations on his head. The crime took place in the 14200 block of Clemson Street. A known suspect cashed an unauthorized business check sometime between July 1 and 25 in the 50 block of Majestic Court. Officers discovered an ounce of marijuana in the car of a driver pulled over at the intersection of Tierra Rejada Road and Peach Hill Drive on Nov. 12. The driver was arrested, cited and released. On Nov. 11, officers pulled over the driver of a car with an unlit license plate. During a search, the driver and a passenger were found to be in possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. Both were arrested, cited and released. The incident took place on Tierra Rejada Road, east of Walnut Creek Road. |
