Active Adult Center offers day trip with lunch, show

The Moorpark Active Adult Center will sponsor a day trip to the Via Verde Country Club in San Dimas for a special musical holiday show and luncheon on Thurs., Dec. 6.

Participants will depart by motorcoach from the Moorpark Active Adult Center, 799 Moorpark Ave., at 9:45 a.m. and return at approximately 5:45 p.m.

"A Holiday Canteen Show" featuring a Tribute to Bob Hope and the Andrews Sisters will be performed by professional singers and comedians, and includes holiday solos, duets and group numbers.

Lunch is a three-course meal with wine. The menu is garden salad, roast turkey with dressing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, rolls, cheesecake, coffee or tea, and wine.

Trip cost is $75 and includes transportation, driver tip, matinee, lunch and wine.

Payment is due at time of reservation, with no refunds.
