Sheriff's Blotter Someone was arrested for stealing goods at the Kohl's store in the 800 block of Los Angeles Avenue Dec. 2Bail was set at $2,500. A 31-year-old man was cited for driving without a license at the intersection of Broadway and Grimes Canyon roads Dec. 2. Someone broke into a vehicle parked in the 14900 block of Campus Park Road Dec. 1 and stole a purse. On Dec. 1 authorities arrested a man under the influence of drugs in the 200 block of Charles Street. A probation search revealed the man had two glass pipes used to smoke methamphetamines at his home. Vandals caused $200 in damages when they spray-painted property aMoorpark High School Nov. 30. Someone stole a wallet from the countertop of the 7-Eleven store in the 500 block of Los Angeles Avenue Nov30. The victim's bank cards were then used to withdraw an undisclosed amount of money. A 34-year-old woman was arrested for a felony offense in the 800 block oLos Angeles Avenue Nov. 29. Bail was set at $30,000. On Nov. 29 someone stole Christmas decorations from the front yard of a home in the 7200 block of Pecan Avenue. Someone was cited for driving with a suspended license at the corner oLos Angeles and Millard avenues on Nov. 29. Someone shoplifted property from the Target store in the 800 block of Los Angeles Avenue on Nov. 29. A male was cited with a $2,771 fine for lying to a peace officer during a routine traffic stop at the intersection oMillard Street and Roberts Avenue on Nov. 29. The man was also driving without a valid driver's license. On Nov. 28 someone stole property from the front yard of a home in the 15100 block of Collegiate Court. Vandals spray-painted graffiti on a wall and on vehicles parked at a construction business in the 13900 block of Princeton Avenue on Nov. 28. Vandals caused $300 in damages to city property on Nov. 28 at 4550 Tierra Rejada Avenue. Someone left the Denny's restaurant in the 800 block of Los Angeles Avenue without paying for their meal. The incident occurred on Nov. 28. A 30-year-old male was cited with a $271 fine for driving without a license at the intersection of Miller Parkway and Patriot Drive on Nov. 28. A Moorpark resident was cited and given a notice to appear in court for disturbing the peace in the 13400 block of Bonita Heights Street on Nov. 27. Someone caused $1,500 in damages to the doors of a vehicle parked in the 4500 block of Tierra Rejada Road on Nov. 27. An unlicensed driver was cited for passing a school bus that had red flashing lights. His vehicle was impounded. The incident occurred Nov. 27 at the intersection of Flynn and Spring roads. On Nov. 27 police cited an unlicensed driver in the 600 block of Spring Road. Someone stole property from several vehicles parked in the area of Peach Hill Road and Shawnee Court between midnight and 7 a.m. on Nov. 26. Vandals caused under $400 in damages to property belonging to the Moorpark Unified School District. The incident occurred on Nov. 26 at Campus Canyon Elementary School in the 15300 block of Monroe Avenue. Thieves shattered the window of a vehicle parked in the 4200 block of Persimmon Street to steal a purse and money. The incident occurred Nov. 26. On Nov. 26 vandals spray-painted property at the Warehouse Discount Center in the 14300 block of White Sage Road. Thieves stole property from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 14300 block of Peach Hill Road on Nov. 26. Someone stole property valued at under $400 from a vehicle parked in the 4200 block of Dakota Drive on Nov. 26. Vandals spray-painted graffiti on walls belonging to Moorpark Storage on Nov. 25 in the 121000 block of Poindexter Avenue. A 33-year-old man who is known to police was stopped for jaywalking at the intersection of Los Angeles Avenue and Park Lane on Nov. 24. He was cited with two misdemeanor charges totaling $5,100 because he was in possession of marijuana, a violation of his probation. Someone was arrested in connection with several felony and misdemeanor charges at an undisclosed location in Moorpark on Nov. 23. Bail was set at approximately $123,000. Someone stole items from the Michaels arts and crafts store in the 200 block of Los Angeles Avenue on Nov. 21. On Nov. 21 a 37-year-old man who displayed signs and symptoms of being under the influence of drugs while he was riding a bicycle in the center of Majestic Court was cited with a $5,000 fine.
