Holiday turkey dinners donated to Moorpark Food Pantry

DINNER FOR ALL- Community volunteers help provide Thanksgiving meals for local families in need.

Agents from the Troop Real Estate Moorpark office recently donated and transported 90 turkey meals to the Moorpark Food Pantry as part of Troop's annual "Turkey-A-Thon" for Thanksgiving.

Agents have been contributing to this cause for the past 10 years. Last year the program provided Thanksgiving dinner to more than 7,000 people in Ventura County.

Each family received a 12 to 14 pound turkey, potatoes, stuffing mix, green beans, cream of mushroom soup, onions, cranberry sauce, and rolls.

The meals were delivered to the families on the Monday before Thanksgiving.
