Democratic Club wraps up year with pot luck

The Simi Valley/Moorpark Democratic Club will host a pot luck holiday event at 7 p.m. Wed., Dec. 19 in the community room of the Simi Valley Library, 2969 Tapo Canyon Road.

The club will provide a honeybaked turkey with all the trimmings.

Members may bring an unwrapped toy and/or a can of food to enter into a raffle for a Border's gift certificate.

A film about the Iraq war will also be shown.
