Science fun at Flory Academy

Flory Academy of Sciences and Technology presents the annual Science Extravaganza from 6 to 8 p.m. Thurs., Jan. 17 at 240 Flory Ave., Moorpark.

Handson science experiments will be given. Presentations include "Body Energy" by California Lutheran University, robotics by Chaminade High School, and light and optics by Boeing.

At 7 p.m. in the library, Principal Pam Hill will discuss the school's curriculum. Applications will be accepted through Jan. 13 for the 2008/2009 school year.
