Girls' soccer team advances to Division II quarterfinals

      After eight years, Moorpark High soccer fans finally had a reason to celebrate. The MHS girls' soccer team pulled off its second playoff upset in a row on Wednesday, this time beating Corona Del Mar 2-1 in the second round of the CIF-Southern Section Division II playoffs.

Marmonte wrestlers advance to Masters Meet
      The CIF Masters Meet is today and Saturday at Wilmer Carter High in Rialto, and many area wrestlers have qualified for the prestigious event. Royal High, which easily won the Marmonte League title, will send six of its grapplers to Masters.
