Fire erupts in Mountain Meadows

SEBASTIAN RAMIREZ/Special to the Acorn DOUSING THE FLAME- A fire burned the second story of a home in the 11000 block of Blossomwood Court in Moorpark on Wednesday afternoon. Most of the top floor of the twostory home was gutted. The residents were out of state when the incident occurred, said witnesses. A pet dog was rescued by deputies and was reported unhurt. The cause of the fire was not known at press time.
