Red Cross honors its volunteers

The American Red Cross of Ventura County celebrated its volunteers at the recent Volunteer Recognition Event.

Following private museum tours, dinner and entertainment at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library, special recognition was given to the following honorees:

Trina Hole: Disaster Services Award

Carlos Reyes, Ola's Mex-Grill of Camarillo: Good Neighbor Award

Kim Landry of Simi Valley: Health and Safety Award

The Ventura County Fire Department: Partnership Award

David Bayer: Rookie of the Year Award

Gwen and Gerry Wong of Camarillo: Service to the Armed Forces Award

Maria Tello: Unsung Hero Award

Doug Graham of Moorpark: Volunteer Fundraiser Award

James Jee of Thousand Oaks: Youth Services Award

Steve Caplan of Newbury Park: Stark Memorial Volunteer of the Year Award

The Red Cross of Ventura County thanks its 1200 volunteers for their service to the Ventura County Community.
