Breanna gives health update

It's me Breanna, with another update. Not much has happened since my brain surgery in January. However, lately I've been experiencing mild and some major headaches, along with feeling nauseous almost everyday. My family mentions my short-term memory has gotten worse, or they say it has, but I don't remember. But that doesn't stop me from having fun and living life.

Mark your calendar because Moorpark's Relay for Life will be on Sat. May 31 and Sun., June 1, and I hope to see all my friends, family, and community there to support all who have been touched by cancer.

My sister Shannon will be giving a speech in the opening ceremonies in regards to having a sibling with cancer, as I try to be the leader of the survivor lap once again. My mom is also involved as the fundraiser chair, and hopes to exceed all previous years with monies raised to find a cure for cancer. Please let us know if you would like to be a sponsor.

In school I have officially passed the high school exit exams, and a busy little bee working hard to complete all necessary requirements. I am looking forward to my senior prom this month at the Ronald Reagan Library, and then graduation on June 12.
