Mesa Verde wins track meet
      Approximately 280 youngsters competed in the ninth annual Moorpark Rotary Relays last week, with Mesa Verde Middle School defeating Chaparral Middle School 105 to 56. During the event, held at Moorpark High, many records were broken by both teams.

V.C. Championships today at MHS
      Moorpark High will be the site for today's Ventura County Championships. The track and field action is set to begin at 3 p.m. Top area talent will be on display throughout the afternoon in a variety of events. Attendance fees are $5 for adults and $3 for children.
