Custard pie for dessert
Recipe of the week
2-1/2 cups milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
4 eggs, slightly beaten.
Scald milk. Add sugar, flavorings and salt and mix together. Stir slowly into beaten eggs. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Sprinkle with nutmeg. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
