New counseling office opens in Moorpark

Moorpark Counseling announces the opening of a new office at 165 High St., Ste. 102, Moorpark. Moorpark Counseling is a group of therapists who offer a professional yet relaxing atmosphere.

The therapists provide general counseling to individuals, couples, families and children, as well as services in many specialized areas such as depression, anxiety, health issues, grief, life transitions and parenting.

Two of the therapists have lived in the community for more than 20 years: Dianne MeyerSasada, marriage and family therapist, and Michele Berry, licensed clinical social worker.

"It can be very difficult to travel to the surrounding cities for appointments, especially if you have children or working," said Meyer-Sasada. "Having a counseling office close to home makes life just a little less stressful,"

Moorpark Counseling will also offer community outreach programs, including free presentations on a variety of subjects such as Empty Nest, Stop The Bullying, Grief and Loss and Life Transitions.

May is Mental Health month. The counselors will be offering free depression or anxiety screenings this month.
