Student to attend Girls State
The Moorpark American Le gion Auxiliary Unit 502 has selected Zoe Sophos as a representative to Girls State, a civics and government program that brings together high school girls from across the state to Sacramento to participate in civics education and mock government activities.

Sophos is a student at Moorpark High School. She is a staff writer for the Moorpark High Newspaper, and is working towards her Gold Award as a Senior Girl Scout.

Her goal is to attend Georgetown College and major in international affairs.
