ANCIENT HISTORY- Margit and Randy Wheeler receive a personal private tour of the Moorpark Mammoth bones at the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History, courtesy of Jeff Grossman, the museum's director of membership. The tusk pictured is about 6 to 7 feet long. The age of a mammoth can be determined from the rings in the tusk, much like the rings of a tree reveal the tree's age.
