      The tragic murder of 20-year-old Jose Luis Castro at a party in Camarillo Sun., July 13 was the second time in the past two months in which a young man was stabbed and killed by uninvited guests trying to crash a house party.

Woman suffers sexual assault
      John Timothy Ross, 42, of Las Vegas, Nev., was arrested July 11 on sexual assault charges. Ventura County sheriff's deputies responded to a 911 call from the Peach Hill area of Moorpark at 4:54 a.m. The call was from a woman who said she was being attacked. The line was then disconnected.
