Straight Up Ventura County has debuted a new blog that features writing by and for youths and parents on the subject of underage and binge drinking and impaired driving.

The blog contains stories and statements from teens who know of other youths affected by drinking, and also tips for adults wanting more information about underage and binge drinking.

The blog can be accessed at www.straightupvc.org/blog.

Straight Up's online resources are part of its "toolkit" to encourage discussion about teen issues. Straight Up also offers workshops, youth leadership training, video resources and reality parties for parents.

Straight Up is a youth development project that promotes social change regarding underage and binge drinking through interactive performance, workshops, and development of community solutions to problems.
