Academy graduates new deputies

The Ventura County Criminal Justice Training Center will graduate Academy Class No. 2008-2 in a ceremony at 1 p.m. Fri., Oct. 31 at the Camarillo Community Church auditorium, 1322 Las Posas Road, Camarillo. Patrick Hunter, mayor of Moorpark, will be the guest speaker.

The recruits have completed 22 weeks of instruction provided through the combined efforts of local law enforcement agencies and other criminal justice entities.

Following are the graduates who will be serving the Ventura County Sheriff's Department: John Barbic, Brian L. Campbell, James Douglas, Jason Havelka, Cameron Henderson, George A. Hernandez, Camille Jensen, Richard Maertz, James Mongeon, Axel M. Morales, Mark Plassmeyer, Rico Rinaldi and Eric A. Veloz.
